通常與such搭配的詞語有哪些

1. 表示“那樣的”“這樣的”，與 no, any, some, all, few, many, each, every, several, other, another, one, two 等詞語連用，應置於其後，但是與不定冠詞連用時，要置於其前。如：

All such books are useful. 這些書都很有用。

There's no such thing as ghosts. 沒有鬼這樣的東西。

One such dictionary is enough. 這樣的詞典一本就夠了。

There had been many such occasions. 曾有許多這種情況。

He couldn't afford to pay such a price. 他出不起這樣的價錢。

注意，受no such脩飾的名詞無需再用冠詞：

沒有免費的午餐。

誤：There is no such a thing as a free lunch.

正：There is no such thing as a free lunch.

2. 在“such+名詞”之前，可用 some, all, many等脩飾，但通常不用 some of, many of, all of 等脩飾。如：

所有這些可能性都必須考慮。

正：All such possibilities must be considered.

誤：All of such possibilities must be considered.

3. 用於 such as：表示擧例或列擧，意爲“像這樣的”“諸如此類的”“例如”等，用來引出同位語，通常應放在所脩飾的名詞之後。如：

Don't do anything silly such as marry him. 不要做什麽蠢事，比如說去嫁給他。

There are few poets such as Keats and Shelly. 像濟慈和雪萊這樣的詩人現在很少了。

4. 比較such…as與such…that：

(1) such…as中的as是關系代詞，用以引導定語從句，在句中充儅主語或賓語等，而 such…that 中的that衹起引導詞的作用，用以引導結果狀語。如：

我從未聽過他講那樣的故事。

正：I've never heard such stories as he tells.

誤：I've never heard such stories that he tells.

這石頭那麽重，我搬不動。

正：It's such a heavy stone that I can't move it.

誤：It's such a heavy stone as I can't move it.

比較兩句：

He is such a good teacher as we all respect. 他是一位我們大家都尊敬的好老師。（as引導的是定語從句，as 在該定語從句用作 respect 的賓語）

He is such a good teacher that we all respect him. 他是那樣一位好老師，以至於我們大家都尊敬他。（that 引導的是結果狀語從句，that 在該狀語從句中不充儅句子成分，另外注意句中的 respect 帶有賓語 him）
